1. Who we are and what this policy covers
FarkinSweet is a charitable enterprise of Doer Group Pty Ltd (ABN 26 660 003 645), the charity at doer.org.au. In this policy, “FarkinSweet”, “FarkinSweet.au”, “FarkinSweet.tech”, “we”, “us”, “our” and “the company” refer to Doer Group Pty Ltd operating the FarkinSweet websites and enterprise.
This policy covers the FarkinSweet.au and FarkinSweet.tech websites, related contact and mailing-list interactions, and general FarkinSweet communications. A product such as MyVehicle may have a supplemental privacy notice describing its own accounts, vehicle data, AI features or other processing.
2. Personal information we may collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- your name, email address, telephone number and organisation;
- the content of enquiries, feedback, project discussions and other correspondence;
- mailing-list, event, expression-of-interest or beta registration details, including first name, email address, experience level and phone operating system where requested;
- website usage and technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages visited, approximate region, timestamps, cookie identifiers, security events and diagnostic logs; and
- information you choose to provide when applying, collaborating, donating or engaging with a FarkinSweet project.
Please do not provide sensitive information, identity documents, financial information or confidential material unless we ask for it and it is reasonably necessary.
3. How we collect information
We may collect information directly from you when you email, submit a form, register interest, work with us or otherwise communicate with us. Technical information may be collected automatically by our websites, hosting, security, analytics and content-delivery systems. We may also receive information from doer.org.au, service providers, collaborators or public sources where permitted by law.
4. Why we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and manage relationships, projects and opportunities;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the websites and our services;
- send requested updates and manage subscriptions or expressions of interest;
- research, develop and support FarkinSweet products and charitable activities;
- detect misuse, fraud, technical failures and security threats;
- meet legal, regulatory, accounting and governance obligations; and
- protect the rights, safety and legitimate interests of FarkinSweet, doer.org.au and others.
5. Cookies, analytics and website technology
Our websites may use cookies, local storage, server logs and privacy-conscious analytics to remember settings, measure performance, understand broad usage patterns and protect the service. Browser controls can restrict cookies, although some features may not work as intended. If we introduce advertising, behavioural profiling or a materially different analytics system, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by law.
6. When we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to:
- authorised FarkinSweet and doer.org.au personnel;
- contractors, advisers and collaborators who need it for an authorised purpose;
- hosting, content-delivery, security, analytics, communications, storage and other technology providers, which may include GitHub and Cloudflare;
- regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where required or permitted by law; and
- a successor or service-transition party, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information.
7. International processing
Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia. The countries involved can change as provider infrastructure changes. Where practical, we select reputable providers and use contractual, technical and organisational controls appropriate to the information and risk.
8. AI and automated tools
FarkinSweet develops technology and may use AI-assisted tools for internal research, drafting, support, security or product development. We apply human oversight where a decision may materially affect a person. We will not knowingly use sensitive personal information in public AI systems without an appropriate purpose, authority and safeguard. Product-specific AI processing will be described in the relevant product privacy notice.
9. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we hold. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business and charity records, resolve disputes, protect security, or comply with law. Information may persist for a limited period in backups before deletion.
10. Access, correction and choices
You may ask for access to or correction of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where the law permits, explaining why where appropriate. You can unsubscribe from non-essential email using the link provided or by contacting us.
11. Privacy complaints
Please contact us first so we can investigate and respond. We aim to acknowledge a privacy complaint promptly and provide a substantive response within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Links to doer.org.au and other external sites are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the websites, products or legal requirements change. The current version will be published here with its effective date. Material changes may also be highlighted through the website or another appropriate channel.
